What the table says

Zero-commission platforms top the ranking — Vinted and Depop leave sellers the full $30 (Depop's only line is payment processing), while Poshmark's 20% is the priciest common take. Marketplaces that bundle processing into one percentage (eBay, Mercari, TikTok Shop) land in the middle. Shopify looks cheapest of all — but its subscription isn't in per-order math, which is exactly why we publish the assumptions next to the table.

Methodology

Every rate lives in a public, per-platform data file with a verification date and official source links — the same files that power our calculators. The table above is computed at build time from those files, so it can never drift from them. Where a platform hides rates behind a seller login (Amazon FBA fulfillment tiers), we exclude that component and say so, rather than estimate. Corrections are tracked in our public changelog.
